I want to take a minute and express how thankful I am to live at 800 W Lill and to be a part of the Local by Laramar community.
I've lived in the building for about two years and not only is the apartment wonderful, but the staff and maintenance crew are by far the best I've ever had. Everyone is so nice and whenever I've put in a maintenance request, regardless of how urgent it is, the staff and crew always respond quickly and the repairs are often done in less than 24 hours!
I've been especially impressed with how the staff have handled the recent Covid-19 situation and ensuring the safety of their residents. I can tell the building is cleaned often and very thoroughly, and staff have kept in constant communication with residents about improved safety measures and precautions both via email and with signage posted throughout the building. What really got me was that they agreed to absorb any transaction fees associated with paying rent and offered to work out a payment plan with those tenants who have been financially impacted by the pandemic so that they can stay in their home - this shows a lot of empathy and is just really great customer service overall. I've spoken to so many of my friends who have apartment management companies that haven't done anything to communicate with their residents or work with them during these uncertain times, and I am incredibly grateful to have a management company that cares and does all it can for its residents no matter the circumstances.
